Carolina State Championship Wrap Up💫
@tay__hendrix__ showed up and showed out for her last show of her 1st season!
With previously winning her true novice class and novice class earlier in the season, we decided to just stick to the Open Class (no need to spend money on other classes when you’ve been there won that😉).
Open Bikini Class B, was probably the biggest class in the entire show (not exaggerating) with at least 15 girls in it. We made it to first call outs at prejudging and was locked into 5th place at finals.
Was the placing any higher than last show? No. But that doesn’t define the improvements that were made and the package that we brought. The judges wanted tighter and a little more glute tie in and that’s what we brought.
Next stop for @tay__hendrix__ is to get on the gain train 🚂 because our next goal is to make it to the national stage!
Thank you @npc.tres @carolinanpc for putting on a fantastic show that ran super quick and efficient!! Definitely a good way to end the season in the Carolinas!
Thank you @marieannnewman for sticking around after the show to provide us with the feedback we needed going into our offseason!

On top of my last post, the last time I competed in Florida was here in Orlando. Nationals 2020, where I won my Pro card!! It was also my very last competition in women's physique. Done. I had spend half a decade in WPD and I had accomplished everything there was. The 🅾️ was for something BIGGER.
I have deep history right here in this building. Coming back at the level that I'm at is surreal!!! All signs point to an even richer experience to come 😈

Less than 1% of the worlds population is apart of this sport. I’m lucky enough to say I AM officially apart of the one percent. Many people say this sport is self absorbing, but it’s quite the opposite, it’s full of self awareness, discipline, power of a made up mind, courage and so much more. I’m so thankful for all of the support through my weight loss transformation and into my first body building show. I couldn’t have done it without my friends and family by my side. Not only was it my first time on stage but I brought back some hardware in both women’s figure (first place) and overall champion in women’s physique. I was lucky enough to have my best friend and coach @brimarshall__ifbbpro present me the overall win. I can’t wait to continue this journey that this sport has to offer me, and I can’t wait to do it all again in 3 weeks.

This was such an amazing show to be in. So many amazing competitors. This is the last and final show of the season. Always one of my favorite transformations of all time. Tina has been with me for 5 years, and we've done so much together in that time. She is the epitome of #neverquit and does everything she's asked to do. These changes did not happen overnight. Too many people are quick to give up when the transformation doesn't happen as quickly as they'd like. If you give TIME, EFFORT, PATIENCE, and CONSISTENCY, one day you will be able to look back and say "Damn, I did that!"

Wow where to even begin,
Yesterday I competed in my first body building show. This has been an incredible journey. All the cardio, all the meal prep, all the time spent in the gym, all the things I had to say “no” to, and all the discipline came to fruition yesterday on that stage. I started this thing knowing that it would be hard and wanting to test my willpower and determination. There were good days and bad days. And I’m thankful for all the help, love, understanding, and support I’ve had from so many along the way. I’m proud of this. Me against me.
Right before I stepped on stage my coach said, “show them you want it.” And I did. And I brought home some hardware!🥇🏆

What can I say? Goal achieved!
To finally be home and have time to reflect after this past weekend is overwhelming. I achieved my goal! ✅
It really hasn’t sunk in quite yet
It was the most awesome trip. Everything went so smoothly and my whole family had a blast!
North American Championships is where I turned IFBB PRO. Finals were Friday night and I ended up placing top four in all four groups that I competed in. I came home with a 4th, 4th, 3rd, and in the last group that I competed in I WON MY PRO CARD. I ended up winning 1st place in the FIGURE OPEN division.👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
It was an unbelievable WIN, and I am beyond thrilled!
Trust me, this was not done alone. I had a whole team of people supporting and helping me. Coach Rob, Jax Physiques, I can’t thank you enough for your expertise. You have been amazing at figuring out what it takes for my body to respond! WE DID IT!
Dr. Jason David Schottel, Anti-Aging and Regenerative Associates for making sure I stayed healthy.

Being your best self can put pressure on to your life and take away from your enjoyment of life. But what you need to realize is that you can ENJOY being your best self. Push your limits because that’s what makes you improve. I am so happy with the package and the confidence I was able to bring to this show.
