I was more of a believer. Yes the diet, training, cardio, etc I planned, but with the special gifts that she possesses, I knew she would be a star fast and I simply allowed her to be her, unique, bold, detailed as hell, creative, and confident. The only thing that I had to do at times was to tell her not to overwork. It’s also normal to be anxious and nervous before going on stage, especially the biggest stage. Not Anjie 😅. She was like, “let me at ‘em coach I’m ready to battle!!” That’s why I nicknamed her Scrappy! To all of my followers, friends, family, co-workers, that kinda have an idea of what bodybuilding is based on my posts but still a little confused. This is it. This is bodybuilding. It’s not the meathead throwing weights around in the gym…well some of that. It’s an art. It’s taking a sculpture from a museum, then giving it a pulse and a breath to come to life on a stage. They sent every single athlete a perfect video of their individual performance at prejudging. They sent it immediately so we could get it out to our fans! It meant the world to me ❤️. I placed 4th out of 6. I am beyond proud of myself myself for stepping on that stage. This prep was extremely hard on me but I kept going and made it to stage. During prep I lost 29 lbs. My stage package was one I am extremely proud of. My posing is what I am not proud of. I kept turning the wrong way 🤦🏽‍♀️ lol but you live and you learn.
